Inaugurated on August 5, 1966 after four years of construction, this mega-resort has undergone several expansion and modernization projects. Today, the property covers an area of 28,000 square meters and its highlight is the famous Colosseum with 4.300 seats where Celine Dion presents her show. Other attractions include a life-size reproduction of Michelangelo’s David, the floating dance floor at Cleopatra’s Barge, the six pools at the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis and Forum Shops at Caesars which reproduces a Roman villa in ancient times. Another focus is the Palace Pool, which contains a traffic circle with a special-sized golden statue of Caesar.
LOCATION AND ACCOMMODATIONS
Located in the heart of the famous Las Vegas Strip, between the Bellagio and the Mirage, the Caesars Palace has 3,348 rooms divided into five towers: Augustus, Forum, Octavius, Palace andRoman. Guests and visitors can enjoy numerous restaurants, a huge outdoor area dedicated to swimming pools and gardens and a grandiose spa, the “Wed” – which has 51 rooms with the most varied treatments for those who want to relax and/or take care of themselves.
In yet another exclusive project, the Caesars Palace inaugurated the Hotel Nobu on February 4, 2013 after a complete renovation of the old Centurian Tower. TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS
Shuttle – Shuttle service to all the properties in the same chain: Bally’s, Harrah’s, Rio and Paris. This service is offered for a fee.
Monotrilho (Monorail) – The Las Vegas Monorail connects several casinos at a very affordable price. Tickets can be purchased directly at the monorail service counters (Customer Service Booths), at the e-TICKET Kiosks, or in advance via the Las Vegas Monorail website. To take the Monorail, Caesars guests must go to the Flamingo Hotel and walk through the main lobby towards the parking garage to get to the Monorail. Flamingo/Caesars Palace Monorail Station. The stops along the way are: Sahara, LVH (Las Vegas Hilton), Convention Center, Harrah’s, The Quad, Bally’s and MGM Grand.

The Rise and Fall of Atlantis Show – This duel of the mythological gods Bacchus, Venus, Apollo and Pluto happens in Festival Fountain near the restaurant Cheesecake Factory. It’s a show with animatronic characters, water, fire, lightning, thunder, special effects and neon lights, with the main figure being the statue of Bacchus, the god of wine in Roman mythology. Music and dance shows – At certain times throughout the day, a square in the Forum Shops becomes a stage for music and dance shows that delight everyone in the family.
Living characters – Walking through the Forum Shops tourists come across human statues, gladiators, Cleopatra look-alikes, characters from the Roman Empire and beauties dressed in togas who wander the streets and, for a small tip (optional), offer the opportunity to pose for photos.
The Forum Shops is not only a shopping destination but also a must-visit place for the many free attractions it offers. In the Forum Shops there is a fantastic curving escalator that is well worth a look.
Absinthe – Presented on the set of Spiegeltent – an outdoor tent in the style of the wooden circus tents of a century ago – specifically this one is decorated with stained glass and velvet. Spiegeltent is the perfect venue for this show aimed at an adult audience. Spend moments of sexy and sensual entertainment in this show that is part risqué/burlesque/vaudeville cabaret and part nouveau circus. Deliciously wild, shocking (for defying death with superhuman skill) and at the same time unexpectedly hilarious.
A New Day – From Wednesday to Sunday, the huge Colosseum theater is the home of Celine Dion’s shows A New Day. Her phenomenal talent as a singer combined with her magnificent orchestra, dancing and high-tech special effects guarantee a packed house every night.
