Clowns, juggling and circus arts. This is the theme that the Circus Circus hotel has been offering its guests from all over the world for more than four decades.
Opened on October 18, 1968, the grandiose place was founded by American businessman Jay Sarno. Located at the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip, the hotel is recognized as the world’s largest permanent circus and is now operated by the MGM Resorts International group. The hotel is 4 km from McCarran International Airport.
Casino
The 9,290.3 m² set aside for gaming has four areas: the main casino, West, Skyrise and Slots Fun. In between, there are 1,500 slot machines, table games with 40 blackjack tables and nine roulette tables, as well as a poker room with eight tables and Race Central with 14 TV monitors.
A curious fact about the space is that it once served as a film set for the famous spy movie, 007 – Diamonds Are Forever. Chic, right?
Note
The hotel charges a mandatory fee of $12.95 plus tax per night. The fee is paid directly to the hotel at check-in and covers the following services: high-speed internet service, a coffee machine, discounts in various hotel stores, game coupons, two free gym passes valid for up to two people, local calls, boarding pass printing, among others.
Accommodation
– The 3,770 rooms include cable TV and pay channels, hairdryers, iron and ironing board, blackout curtains, pillow top mattresses and wireless internet.
– Remember that the last repairs to the details of the suites were made in 2006.
– The decoration shifts away from calm colors to brighter options such as yellow, blue and red.
Award
After undergoing an evaluation, also known as Owner Certification, it was verified that the hotel’s tourism practices are carried out in a sustainable manner, thus generating the “green seal” of the Key Eco-Rating Program Green. The issues assessed were: the environment, the community, cultural heritage and the local economy.
Leisure
If your thing is to enjoy an open-air swimming pool, Circus Circus is also ready to fulfill your desire. With three heated pools, jacuzzis and sun loungers, the aquatic center is located in the Skyrise tower. Next door, for those who prefer to give priority to aesthetic care, the Salon & Spa is ready to relax your body with massages and treat your skin as it deserves. It also has a 24-hour gym.
