Retail chains and brands in general are not neglecting this consumer in any way. Proof of this are the many options available, from specialty stores to department stores, which in recent years have opened their own clothing sections for larger mannequins. Whenever we leave our country, many things can change, including the nomenclature given on the labels. When choosing the size of the model, pay attention to the numbers shown, yes, they are different from the Brazilian ones.

Practical example: if your number is 42, in the United States will be 14, if it is 44 then it becomes 16 and so on, the rule is always to go up or down every two numbers, just like in Brazil;

If you’re buying knitwear and sweaters, it changes a little – e.g. our 42 will be the 10 and 44 will correspond to 12, ok?

For men planning to buy suits, the number also changes. Ex. the 46 turn 34, as well as 48 becomes 36.

For men’s shirts, the rule is different. Ex. One 42, here it is 17 and 44 corresponds to 18.
