Synonymous with luxury and refinement, the Wynn / Encore hotels lead the list of the most sought-after places to stay in Las Vegas with quality and sophistication. Refined restaurants, beautiful and well-frequented nightclubs and beautifully decorated rooms are just some of the details that make most Brazilian artists choose this place to stay.
Conceived by Steve Wynn, the resort opened on April 28, 2005 and was named after its creator. The second tower, called Encore, means “encore; one more time” and was created to extend what was already a success. Each tower has 50 floors and its structures form a quarter circle with an intense golden color, making it visible from various points in the city.
The hotel
The Wynn Las Vegas occupies the site of the former Desert Inn, which was demolished in 2001 to make way for the construction of this luxurious hotel, which cost around 2.7 billion dollars. The hotel has around 2,700 rooms that combine comfort and convenience in an unbeatable way.
The Wynn was built so that visitors are attracted to enter the building and see the attractions on offer. The resort boasts a 150-meter-high fountain/waterfall with five different levels. At the end of this waterfall is an artificial lake called Lago dos Sonhos (Lake of Dreams).
In 2006, when the resort celebrated its one-year anniversary, it was announced that a sister building would be built next to the Wynn, the Encore Las Vegas, which opened on December 22, 2008 and cost US$2.3 billion. Encore has 53 floors, 3 more than Wynn, totaling 2,034 rooms.
It’s one of the new hotels that doesn’t have floors beginning with the number 4 or 13, which in some Western and Eastern cultures mean bad luck.
As luxuosas The Tower Suites both hotels have received the 5-star rating from Mobil and AAA 5 Diamond.
The hotel charges a mandatory fee of US$ 25.00 per night, plus tax. The fee is paid directly to the hotel at check-in and covers the following services:
• Internet access in the room
• Local and national long-distance calls
Casino
The casino has around 111.000 m2 and follows the same pattern as the hotel, being designed to be as elegant as the whole complex. It is decorated in shades of red, green and brown, using rich fabrics and fine accessories. Worked wood and imposing chandeliers make up the hotel’s decor, highlighting the Keno areas, the private games rooms and the Race & Sports Book area.
Swimming pools
When it comes to the pool, Wynn’s cabanas are some of the most beautiful and popular on the Strip. There are complimentary iPods, a television set and an exclusive waiter for each cabin. There is also a topless section behind the bar and a small casino in the pool area, so guests can try their luck while they cool off and relax.
the Encore Beach Club has 26 cabins and bungalows of 350 m2.

Shopping
The Wynn Las Vegas was the first resort to include a luxury car dealership inside, the Ferrari and Maserati dealership. There are also 29 stores in the Wynn Resort mall, which sells designer clothes, jewelry and even decorative items. There you’ll find stores selling major brands such as Alexander Mcqueen, Cartier, Chanel, Christian Dior and many others.
Show
The Wynn has the beautiful water showThe Dream, which means “The Dream” in French.
The show was named after a work by Pablo Picasso made in 1932 and which currently belongs to the owner of the casino. In this work, Picasso depicted a woman sleeping in a chair, presenting colorful and abstract art. These same qualities are also present in the show, which invites the audience to forget reality and dive into the surreal world of dreams.
The Le Rêve at the Wynn creates a mind-blowing narrative, with performers who seem to swim in the air and dance on the water. The show is guaranteed to be a success.
Another successful show available at the Wynn is that of singer Garth Brooks, but performances only take place at certain times of the year.
Golf
The Wynn & Encore complex has an 18-hole golf course, the only one on the entire Las Vegas Strip.
