Skydiving simulator in Las Vegas

The skydiving simulator is a good alternative for those who want the thrill of parachuting without even getting on a plane. A DC-3 propeller generates winds capable of lifting the guest and simulating the sensation of free fall.

Think of a typical high adventure taking place close to the ground. This experience can be had in Las Vegas and does not require lengthy courses or training. Preparation is done through a video and guidance from the instructor, who teaches about body positioning, flying techniques, safety concerns and hand signals for communication inside the tunnel. After the theoretical part, special clothing, helmets and gloves are provided for the practical part. The whole experience lasts about an hour and is recorded on video (DVD) and photos.
The “flight” takes place in a “Wind Tunnel 22 meters high, whose interior walls are all padded. At its base is a ‘giant fan’ made from the propeller of a DC-3 which, when switched on, generates winds of up to 193 km/h, enough to support the average weight of an adult.

Every year the venue receives more than 30,000 visitors, with such approval that many return to perfect their flights and acquire more techniques, performing moves such as somersaults, pirouettes and other advanced positions.
According to reports from those who have parachuted using the normal method and done the simulation, the difference between the two is that in the tunnel the person is pushed upwards and in natural skydiving the person is pushed downwards. What’s more, a free fall from an airplane jump lasts around 50 seconds. In simulated skydiving, the time is over 03 minutes.

The adventure is worthwhile and can be done alone or in a group, as long as the participants meet the requirements.
