Mirage

Bringing the air of the Polynesian islands, the four-star Mirage hotel provides full interaction with the animals. Opened on November 22, 1989, the place is committed to providing its guests with a real tropical forest in the middle of the desert. Among the facilities, a garden that recreates the habitat of endangered animals is undoubtedly one of the hotel’s highlights.

During your visit, you can meet white Timbavati tigers (very rare to see), a artificial volcano which spits fire and flames from a height of 30 meters every 15 minutes, as well as an aquarium with more than 1,000 marine creatures such as sharks, rays and tropical fish. The development was designed by architect Joel Bergman and developed by Steve Wynn, and is now run by MGM Mirage.

The Mirage has a casino with 9,300 m² of gaming space, offering games such as baccarat, blackjack, poker, craps, roulette, pai gow and themed slot machines.

Another plus is the 929 m² racing and sports center, with state-of-the-art monitors offering one of the highest betting limits available in the world with straight, accumulator, total and win bets. Racing fans can also relax on one of the 150 individual desktop monitors and check out the biggest racetracks in the United States, including New York, Florida and Southern California.

Accommodation

The 2,763 rooms were renovated and decorated again in 2008, after which they were awarded the AAA Four Diamonds. The result is an even more accurate update on the world’s decorating trends. Vibrant colors and velvet details are adopted in the decorative composition, as well as a stunning mirrored marble entrance, floor-to-ceiling windows and other sophisticated ideas.

Note: The hotel charges a mandatory fee of 25 dollars plus tax per day. The fee is paid directly to the hotel and covers the following services: internet access, daily newspaper, access to the Cardio center, bathrobes in the room and local and toll-free calls.

Refreshing

Embraced by a paradisiacal landscape, the aquatic part of the complex has lagoons and waterfalls with marvelous waterfalls. To bring out even more of the seaside spirit, islands, cabins and a coastline have been designed to offer a total tropical feel. Jacuzzis and a water slide are also included, and the space is open all year round with heated and open spaces.

Spa

This area of the hotel offers therapeutic massages, soothing natural treatments and separate bathing areas for men and women with steam rooms and hydromassages. For those looking for something even more zen, meditation rooms will take care of the tense ones.

The gym part of the spa has cardio machines, weight training equipment and free weights. Consultation with a personal trainer is available for an additional fee.

Remember

This establishment is legally considered to be ecological and sustainable. It won the Key Eco-Rating Program Green for its tourism practices. Recognized for its work on behalf of the environment, community, cultural heritage and local economy.

SIEGFRIED & ROY’S SECRET GARDEN AND DOLPHIN HABITAT
The interaction with nature is even more felt in this space. The idea is to explore and learn about the most exotic species that exist in nature. White lions, white tigers, panthers and leopards can all be seen up close. But the big hit is the charismatic Tursiops dolphins, with whom you can play and learn how to train these swimmers from local professionals. Please note that this activity is charged separately.

BEATLES LOVE
This magnificent musical brings the impeccable technique of Cirque du Soleil together with the spirit and passion behind the world’s most beloved rock group, the Beatles. The songs in the show have been remixed and remastered by the group’s producer George Martin, and have been approved by none other than the eternal Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, the only living members of the quartet, as well as Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison. Not to be missed!

TERRY FATOR: THE VOICE OF ENTERTAINMENT
“America’s Got Talent” winner Terry Fator brings his hilarious impersonation show, new celebrity voices, puppets and much more. Backed by an excellent live band, the artist brings to life his puppet co-stars, including Cher, Justin Timberlake, Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks, The Pussycat Dolls and others.

A space that takes visitors on a true psychedelic sensory journey. This is the first nocturnal space experience created by Cirque du Soleil. The venue combines interactive design, art and sound in a contemporary interpretation of the Beatleman era. The sound of eclectic DJs promises an innovative mix of hip hop and beats from the nostalgic 70s, 80s and 90s.

1 OAK
Sophistication, that’s the word that defines this space. Art and fashion intertwine to create a sexy and unpredictable environment. By means of audiovisual resources, the venue’s two rooms feature original works of art by world-renowned artist Roy Nachum.

Rhumbar
