The Bellagio is one of the most traditional and luxurious casino hotels in Las Vegas. It is located in the heart of the famous Las Vegas Boulevard, better known as the Strip, and was inspired by the resorts of Lake Como in Italy. Almost 2 billion dollars were spent on the construction of this hotel, which certainly meets every need for luxury and opulence.
The Bellagio is currently part of the conglomerate of hotels controlled by MGM Resorts InternationalTM. One of the resort’s many attractions is the show Dance of the Waters, set against the backdrop of the artificial lake and the hotel façade; the 2.000 molded glass flowers at the entrance; the Conservatory and Botanical Garden, just to name a few examples. The Bellagio also has the“O” by Cirque du Soleil.
History
Long awaited for its modernity, the Bellagio was inaugurated on October 15, 1998 and cost around $1.6 billion. Its inauguration ceremony began at around 11 a.m. and cost $88 million.

Bellagio Fountains
The show can be seen from various locations on the Strip and has a set time: every 30 minutes from 15:00 to 19:00 from Monday to Friday and from 12:00 on weekends/holidays. The performance takes place every 15 minutes between 19:00 and 00:00.

The Bellagio also has a greenhouse made up of natural flowers. The garden is remodeled five times a year, using Chinese New Year (in January), Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter as its theme. Each scene is a show of beauty and creativity.

Cirque du Soleil’s “O” presents an aquatic tapestry of art, surrealism and theatrical romance in the timeless production “O” (pronounced like the letter O). The international roles of world-class acrobats, synchronized swimmers, divers and the characters in, on and above the water create an exciting experience in a magnificent theater. From Wednesday to Saturday at two times; 7:30 pm and 10:00 pm.
Nightlife
For those who like to dance, a good option is the Clube Light, a perfect place to enjoy the sound of renowned DJs at night.
