Inaugurated in 1990, the museum has three floors distributed with interactive exhibitions that explore science, art, culture and development. In this informal learning environment, adults and children are taken into a world of discoveries, surprises and imagination.

In addition to the permanent attractions Discovery Children’s Museum hosts temporary exhibitions, making the museum always attractive and new.
The science demonstration space (Einstein’s Corner) allows presenters to offer a scientific program for visitors, including daily chemistry shows. Children can discover how chemical substances behave while exploring surprising reactions with liquids, mysterious powders and fascinating gases. They can also attend a ‘freezing’ science lesson, discovering interesting things that happen at 320 degrees (Fahrenheit) below zero. The children explore this cold through demonstrations with liquid nitrogen, arousing even more admiration.
Another focus on Discovery Children’s Museum is to offer experiences in the world of music and art; The creativity workshops offer many themes throughout the year, allowing children to use their imagination through play.
The Desert Discovery is an area specially developed and designed for children under 5 and their families. This area also includes a resource room for parents, a place where they can learn more about the challenges of raising a child and find out about the daily programs aimed at developing children’s learning, from birth to 5 years.
